Because I use a lot of Indo on this mostly English site, here's some lingo for the uninitiated:abang=big brother
ade/adek=younger sibling (gender neutral)
bete/bt=a negative emotion, usually irritation or a bad mood
cewe/ce=slang for girls
cowo/co=slang for boys
ja'im (jaga imej/image)=guarding your social image
kakak (pronounced kaka')=older sibling (gender neutral, or female, depending)
--kak (ka')=honorific for older siblings or 'sempai'
kuliah/kul=college
gwe (sometimes gw, gue)=slang for I or me
SD=elementary school
SK (sometimes es-ka; setia kawan): solidarity, loyalty (among friends) skul=school
SMA=high school
SMP=middle school
TK=kindergarten
wa=slang for I, me (same as 'gwe')
what are all those 2s? this is shorthand for a 'kata ulang' or repeated word. ngakak2 is read ngakak-ngakak= laughing very hard
any words that need to be added?

If I make long entries here will it piss of my freinds list? Not that any of you 'friends'-ed me yet, but still . . .
All in all, I like blogger's ever so (almost) smooth control panel, but am really starting to like the idea of tabs having image space.

Oh yeah, if anyone's reading this and not my blogger blog. I'm here now. My page was misloading. Too much trouble to try to fix it. Scarpering is so much easier.

No class today. (woo-hoo!!) Its photo darkroom day, but none of my projects are up to the point where I can develop anything, so I'm here, hiding in the library where no one will find me and "ah-hah! class-skipper!!" me.

dog days
Yesterday I tied my dog outside because he was bugging me. There's no dog house out there, I just tie him to a post when I'm too damn lazy to walk him, which, to my credit (at least I think so) isn't really all that often.
Concentrating on my art project (and watching movies. maybe mostly watching movies. ><') I never noticed when it started to rain. At around 7:00 It satrted to thunder enough that I realized it was thundering. People told me it had been thundering for hours and raining for hours, but I didn't hear it and they're probably lying.
At about 8:30, (1.5 hours after actaull animal dinner-time) I got up, thinking it was 7-ish. I suck at time, but I did notice the dog was gone. Wondered where he'd gone. Shrugged it off.
Outside it was going something like this: *crackBOOM* *rainrainrain* *crakKaBOOM* *rainrainrainrainrain*
Thats when I remembered where the dog was. ^^;;; When I got to him, he was hiding under a bush, all wimpy-like, since he's petrified of thunder.
I'm the sort of person they'd take kids away from.
Anyway, I felt guilty until he got me back by doing both sorts of business on the rug. Well, the rug adn the floor. T.T
And the moral of the story is: beware the dog with a grudge.

Just 'hi'-ing everyone. Those of you with me on your freinds lists, please don't be mad by my many pointless entries. ^^ I know it crowds your pages as well as mine, now.
It's always a relief to get out of the darkroom It's like a dungeon down there. All dark and chemically and stuff. As always, I forgot important components to my developing and have to come back tommorow and finish everything in a rush. Gah!
RB: I'm going now. I'd love to, you know, help you you mop the floor and stuff--
