I failed NaNo '07

I could maybe have made 50K, if I'd have sat down and tiped all day instead of grocery shopping, then hanging out, but it would have been really random, and un-postable.

I'm pretty dissapointed, but I'll keep working on the story. Maybe it'll even get finished and posted one day before next the NaNo. -_____-a

The Reality of Love and Rock and Roll

Super ridiculous Indonesian movie about high school boys who fail at life and want to be rockers.

Conclusion: This movie is cracktastic genius. Or maybe cracktastic crack.

Aww, Dido misses his big brother, and Ipang misses him back. There's four chapters left, but I gotta get home.

Damn. Part9: transmom has a boyfriend. And his name is Onki. Onki, Ipang. Why does everyone in this movie have crap names? Now Nugi is pissed again, and he's switched to the formal 'anda'. Damn. That's harsh.

Dude, your mom can TAKE YOU DOWN. You AND Chuck Norris. And Jack Bower. You might want to watch yourself.

Ok, ok. I'm really going now.

Why doesn't anyone ever tell me about awesome movies, huh? Why?

Damn, Indonesian cinema. You so deep all of a sudden. This is like if Bill and Ted suddenly tackled complex social issues with a balance of humor and compassion. Dude, this movie opened with fag jokes.

I am so blindsided my mongrel head is spinning.

sucks

This is the last day I could have gone to practice, because I'm outta here next week, and have final projects due between now and then.

So, as luck would have it, I'm just sick enough to think it's a better idea to stay home. It's hard enough to breathe in men without congestion and coughing. Plus my tenugui keeps falling in my face, and my men himo keep coming loose, and I still can't tie it properly, which means people are always helping me/waiting for me anyway. I don't want to go to a practice where I'll have to be tying/untying the damn thing all the time to breathe, on top of all the tying/untying that comes of my usual ineptness.

I'm always lazy to go to practice, but I'm always sad if I have to miss it. ;___;

head boxers

Because my tenugui keeps sliding into my face to an obnoxious degree, we have this joke that maybe it would be easier for me to wear boxers on my head instead and hope scary-sensei doesn't notice. (There's a kid's way of tying tenugui, that involves folding it up like a hat, but she's already vetoed it. One of the guys thinks that that's stupid, and that I should do it anyway, but scary-sensei is scary. He can snub his nose at her if he wants, but I'm not an idiot.)

The only way to pull all nighters is to just be at peace with the idea that you're not gonna get any damn sleep. Trying to speed up to make time to catch a couple hours or change just makes you feel the fatigue more.

It's just like those old kung-fu movies say: A man who can bend like bamboo is stronger than a man who tries to stand firm like an oak.

Oh, alright, thats just one chapter of Kung-fu Boy (when he's trying to figure out how to beat Sie-fan for the first time, remember?). I just thought it was cool.
